The apartment located in Warsaw’s Wola district belongs to a young couple of lawyers living with their two cats. Wola is a rapidly developing area with many new residential projects, yet this particular space surprised us with its calm atmosphere and pleasant views of greenery.

Our goal was to preserve a sense of harmony while creating an elegant, balanced space that references modernist traditions. The interior is defined by natural materials: wooden joinery, oak flooring, warm veneers, linen curtains, and stone countertops.

The color palette consists of muted, warm tones, accented with black and chrome details. The home is filled with the owners’ family heirlooms, which add individuality and a genuine sense of warmth and authenticity.

The layout is clear and functional, tailored to the residents’ daily rhythm. Custom-designed built-ins allowed us to incorporate all necessary functions—including those for the four-legged residents—while maintaining a light and uncluttered feel.

The kitchen opens onto the living room, with the zones subtly divided by a round, dark-finished table. In the lounge area, we placed a shelving unit inspired by mid-century furniture—perfect for displaying keepsakes and unique objects.

The TV unit and kitchen cabinetry were finished in walnut veneer, creating cohesion and an interesting contrast with the light wooden flooring. The living area flows seamlessly into the bedroom and a distinctive bathroom.
